We all know that finals week (and the week before it) is a cluster. This is the week where we have multiple assignments due along with all those exams. This also happens to be the time everyone gets sick too. Frankly no one is into a cold especially when the weather is getting nice! Essential oils for studying will help you focus, but to also boost your immune system.
What you’ll love about these essential oils for studying is you can diffuse them or make your own roller ball. This way you can carry them with you throughout the day. I recommend everyone get doTERRA as they are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) oils. This means there is no weird additives, chemicals, or oils used in the process of making each oil.
It’s cool to know that what you are breathing, rubbing on your skin, or consuming is 100% real and authentic! And with there being so many oils, these are my top picks essential oils for studying (and if you are just interested in learning about essential oils check out my post here)!
This one may surprise you like it did for me, but this is a great oil to make you alert! Peppermint oil is high in menthol, which smacks you in the face with it’s scent. By diffusing a couple drops, it will uplift your mood and motivate you to do something (aka study). Also, if your stomach feels off, take it internally with a veggie cap to sooth your stomach!
Not only does citrus essential oils aid in clearing the air and your skin, but it also aids in clearing your head. The grapefruit oil is best used in either a diffusor or on your skin with a carrier oil. It aids to release negative thoughts to create clarity. This is also great to use right before your exam as well!
This is a essential oil blend that is made specifically for focus! InTune comes in a roller ball perfect for putting on your feet and spine (those are the two areas to get the quickest results). It aids in mental clarity, but also keep your stress levels low thanks to the Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, and Roman Chamomile!
This is my ride or die essential oil! It isn’t for focusing but to reduce your stress levels. The high amounts of stress, poor diet, and no sleep is what causes people to get sick during finals. This lavender oil is the best smelling and it is best to use your diffusor or add some to your pillow before bed!
Now let’s all take a deep breath and remember that finals week is temporary! I truly hope these essential oils for studying help you to ace your exams, but to also keep you mentally sane. I wish you all the best of luck and please share this post with your fellow classmates! Thank you a bunch for reading!
