Heey! My name is Sara and I am a Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Primal Health Coach, and Exercise Physiologist who wants to empower all of YOU to take charge of your life through all facets of health and wellness. I am so thankful you’re here as it sounds like you’re looking to revamp your life.
As a kid, I had the greatest digestion and could honestly eat anything I wanted. However, I hated the way I looked and felt about myself. This lead me into a tailspin of either rewarding myself with food for exercise or punishing myself with exercise because I ate something “bad”. I’m sure many of you know the feelings I am talking about.
Fast forward to my Junior year, Kelly Clarkson’s song “Stronger” came out and I decide to no longer give a f*ck about things that weren’t adding to my life. As I made these mental changes, is also when my gut decided to make changes too (not good changes though)… As you read this, I am on the journey to getting down to the root cause of my IBS like symptoms, lack of energy, and getting of birth control.
I completely understand that making major lifestyle changes like this can be intimidating af. I was there not that long ago when I would be snacking on 100 calorie snacks or fat-free nut butter (honestly what was I doing) until I started taking on a more whole foods and holistic lifestyle. As you are on your journey, I am on the a similar journey as we all want a life full of abundance and one way to get there is assessing aspects that aren’t helping us get there!
My mission is to help every single woman feel empowered through health and wellness to achieve the life they want. We all deserve to have a life full of abundance in feeling good in our skin, loving all aspects of who we are, and overall feeling like a queen (que Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)”).
As I learn more about holistic health and wellness, the more I realize it isn’t just about the food you eat and how you move your body. Of course those are major aspects, but the way you talk or think about yourself, the relationship you have with food and exercise, and the toxic products plays a bigger role.
Just like many women, I did all the cardio, bought all the diet snacks, and lived off of chicken breast because I was scared of the fat in other cuts of meat. I learned very quickly that I didn’t feel good mental and physically. As I took more of a whole foods approach, I learned that what works for me (in all aspects of health and wellness) may not work for you.
I believe that we shouldn’t trap ourselves by society’s standard of what diets to follows, how we view our body, and what is expected of us. I believe we should all eat nutrient dense foods that make us feel good, do movement daily that makes us feel good, and to love ourselves unconditionally. With my holistic approach, I want to help YOU create the lifestyle of your dreams.
