Heey, it’s me Sara B!
I am a food addict, who loves trying new recipes and restaurants daily. You’ll often find my spoon in a nut butter jar, while also obsessing over my kitties.
To give a little background, I am from Massachusetts and currently on the track to becoming an Exercise Physiologist and Registered Dietitian. This ignited my fire to find out why certain food made me bloated, gas, and all around irregular. After having a bad flare up, I said goodbye to gluten and haven’t gone back.
Six months later, boom! My symptoms improved. This health issue is a blessing in disguise as it has pushed me to try different foods and put my chef’s hat on. You’ll find delicious recipes that are simple to make, but are also gluten-free! I wouldn’t say I am strict paleo nor any food label.
My food philosophy is if something doesn’t cause you to feel crappy then why cut it out? Life is meant to be lived and the food is a part of that journey.
As I love eating, exercise is another obsession of mine. There’s no form of exercise I ride or die, but you’ll find me doing barbell squats to Turkish get-ups. I’m just trying to age gracefully you feel me?
Anyways, enough about me! This blog is meant to inspire women to take control over their lives. It is about finding foods and exercises that make you feel good in your body and ready to take on the world (as Beyoncé plays in the background). I’m super excited for this journey and I hope you’ll join me on it!
